Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten: A Showcase of Japanese Artisanry

1087

Hi hi! Jess here!

I’ve always been an enormous fan of any display of expertise or artisanry. I get a lot of joy out of watching someone create something, whether it’s through woodworking, knitting, cooking, or even Gunpla (assembling Gundam mechas from plastic sprues). Add that to my love of traditional Japanese motifs, and you’ll see why Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten caught my eye as we explored Shibuya Scramble Square.

The Shibuya location’s layout echoes the classical streets of Nara
